R. M. Sriram has over 27 years of extensive experience in the financial services industry spread across Europe, India and the Middle East. He is currently the Director of MAC Capital Advisors in the UAE, a Corporate Finance and Advisory business focused on the South East Asia, India and Middle East business corridors. He is also the Founder and Managing Director of the Quadrillion Group, that has consulting and trading businesses in the GCC.

For four years from 2009, Sriram was the Chairman of the Board and CEO of Reliance Capital Asset Management (UK) a part of Reliance Capital Ltd. In this role he led Reliance Capital’s businesses across financial services verticals for the Europe, Middle East and Africa geographies. The areas of business focus included Asset & Wealth Management and Investment Banking. He had the additional responsibility of the India Investment Banking business of Reliance Capital.

He was the senior VP & Area Director of Citibank’s Non-Resident India Wealth Management Business covering the GCC countries prior to joining Reliance Capital. This business had over 100 wealth managers with AUMs of over USD 4 Bn. He also had a short stint as the India Wealth Management Head for BNP Paribas and the Lending Head for Secured Products with IDBI Bank.

He’s been an active member of the Indian Community in Dubai and has been a keynote speaker at the Funds Forum Middle East and other industry forums for many years.

Srikanth has worked with global banks for over 25 years covering investment banking and equities products across Tokyo, New York & Mumbai locations. He started his investment banking career at Nikko Securities based in Tokyo, Japan specialising in principal investments and mergers and acquisitions. This was followed by a long career in derivatives, equities, and prime brokerage divisions at UBS, Merrill Lynch, and Lehman Brothers in Japan and USA. Srikanth was also an executive member of a US$ 220 mn. real estate private equity fund based out of New Delhi that invested in FDI-compliant large residential projects in tier-II cities. Srikanth completed his undergraduate degree in the USA majoring in Finance.
